IATA/UFTAA Travel and Tourism
The IATA/UFTAA Training Program was launched in 1972 by IATA/UFTAA to provide well-trained staff to the travel industry and is now available almost all over the world.
The IATA/UFTAA Diploma is an internationally recognized qualification. The Foundation Course is your gateway to the exciting world of Travel and Tourism and will give you an insight into the travel professional’s role in this industry.
The first two sections of the IATA/UFTAA Diploma are: Level 1 – Foundation Course Level 2 – Consultant CourseThe Foundation Level will provide the student with a good overall knowledge of the travel and tourism industry. Some of the topics covered are industry regulations, world geography, codes, visa & health requirements, travel formalities, air fares and ticketing including e-ticketing, electronic booking tools, customer service, tour operations and technology in the travel industry. The IATA/UFTAA exam is conducted four times in a year.
When you successfully complete the examination, you will be awarded the IATA/UFTAA International Travel and Tourism Foundation Diploma by IATA.
